Hannaleena Hauru’s short film Don’t Whisper in Your Friend’s Mouth will be shot between 21st and 24th of June Kämmenniemi, Tampere. The crew is ready and the casting is complete. The film will be shot in three nights concentrating on hours right after sun set and the hours just before dawn. The whole film takes place during dawn and we have approximately six hours of perfect light per night during this time of the year.
This week the Hannaleena and her cinematographer Jan-Niclas Jansson will do camera tests and rehearse with the actors Antti Haikkala and Anna Kuusamo. The film will be ready in November and it will be broadcast on YLE1 and hopefully it will also be screened in numerous European Film Festivals. Hannaleena’s previous short films If I Fall and So There Are no Poems Coming to Me have both been nominated to Cannes Critics’ week in 2007 and 2008. If I Fall also won the grand prix in Uppsala International Short Film Festival and the Cinema jury prize in International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
