The Painting Sellers’ broadcasting rights have been sold to ARTE France and the film will be broadcast in over ten different countries including France, Germany, Austria and Belgium. The film will be shown for the first time in France on Monday 18th of October.
The Painting Sellers received lots of interest also from the nordic broadcasters in Nordic Talents in the beginning of September. Nordic Talents is a festival for nordic graduation films. The Painting Sellers is director Kuosmanen’s graduation film from Aalto University. Producer Jussi Rantamäki and Director Juho Kuosmanen were there to pitch their upcoming feature Go With the Terrain. Pitching was of course frightful, but Juho did a great job.
